On behalf of the organizing committee, we are honored and delighted to welcome you to the International Symposium entitled ‘Systems Pharmacology and Artificial Intelligence (AI) based on Real World “Big” Data’, approved as a Satellite Symposium of the 18th World Congress of Basic and Clinical Pharmacology, Kyoto, Japan (WCP2018, July 1st-6th, 2018). We believe that we have chosen a place that ensures the symposium, successfully, among cultures and heritages of Kyoto.

This symposium aims to provide a platform that brings together researchers worldwide, innovators, regulatory and data scientists, and students along with industrial and pharma professionals focusing on aspects of systems pharmacology and AI to search for more effective and safe medicines. We also provide an ideal space to exchange and share their views on fundamental and clinical aspects of Systems Pharmacology and its interdisciplinary research.
Participants to the event, besides updating and discussing new trends in real world “big” data-driven research, have a unique opportunity to generate international networks.

Finally, we hope that you all have the opportunities to explore and find new ideas, surrounded by the cultural and historical richness of Kyoto.
We cordially invite you to participate in this honorable event.
See you in Kyoto next July.

With best regards
